I avoid watching horror movies. I have to close my eyes or else the images haunt me. I always got nightmares after watching scary movies as a child. But ever since I stopped allowing the frightening images into my head, I've felt clean and safe. The nightmares have left.

A group of my friends are going to see a horror movie tonight. They all know I dislike this genre, but I decided to go because there is a guy in the group I like.
